Mariah Carey 12/12/03: After I got off work, Jenna and I high-tailed it all the way to San Jose. We got there and got a parking spot right in the second row. It was probably about 7 o'clock and there was a line outside but it was such a short line that we couldn't help but laugh. As soon as we got in line, it seemed like we were let in right away and Jenna and I went over to the merchandise stand. I bought myself a shirt because Mariah is my god! I couldn't help it. We went in, cameras and all even though we weren't supposed to have them and found our seats, not our best for sure but not too terrible either. We waited around and then the opening acts came out, not to be mean, but we were not impressed. After like 45 minutes after the opening acts went off the stage, Mariah finally came out. It was fricken great. Jenna and I love Mariah and we are such dorks that we almost started crying. Despite the numerous costume changes (over 10)Mariah still did great! She seriously sounds just like her album and she wasn't lip syncing. She tore it up!!!!!! Homegirl can SING!!!!!!!! Not that that's a surprise, lol. After the show, we followed her fricken opening acts cause all we saw was blonde hair. That was a waste of time because it wasn't my Mariah, but all and all, it was a good night!
